Connections to Cable and INPA not working Correctly
I have the drivers installed on Windows 7 64bit. COM1 Delay 1, ran as Admin. INPA sees the cable. Not sure where to put the DIP switch on the cable. But INPA can't see the car ignition being on. The image doesn't show but it's flickering between on and off.
What's next? I got the cable from the forum sponsor in TN but no drivers or instructions. I'm trying to put in a virginized 335i cluster to get oil temp read out instead of real time MPG. Thank you. Last edited by Soravia; 11-24-2019 at 12:47 PM.. |

It's normal for the ignition black circle to flicker. If com port is 1 and latency is 1 then the cable is configured. The way you know what way to put the switch is to test it with ncs expert. If you load profile and choose e89 and it says vin is fault then switch to the other side of the cable and it'll work.
