Off-Market! 2011 335i Performance Edition

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 16.00

Item Interest
Hi all,

Considering selling my 2011 335i. Has Premium 2, Sport, and Performance packages. In addition, has heated seats and CIC nav system. Just a tick over 80K miles.

VIN WBAPM5C51BE825667

Has a Bimmertech PP82DSP sound system with BMW Individual Audio components. Amp alone is 1K on the open market. Also has a retrofitted automatic high beam setup with a revised homelink mirror, and an M sport steering wheel (have the original pristine sport wheel as well).

Space gray over black leather. Steptronic.

The Good (all work done with OE BMW parts unless notated otherwise):
  • Rod bearings replaced at 72K, along with the oil pan gasket
  • All oil leaks fixed: OFHG, oil pan gasket, and VCG (last one done under prior ownership)
  • New oil level sensor
  • New front Continental SRS+ all seasons. Rear are Pirelli P Zeros with about 7/32nds tread
  • New front pads and rotors
  • A/C evac and recharge performed
  • Heater core flush
  • New fuel pressure regulator
  • New OE BMW radiator and upper radiator hose, and expansion tank cap (tank itself is from 2019)
  • Cabin and engine air filters replaced
  • Car shifts nicely, boosts well
  • Factory PPF
  • New front and rear windshield moldings
  • Ceramic tint all around

Issues:
  • Slightly worn passenger side motor mount. This is not a concern at the present but am mentioning it in the interests of full transparency. Manifests as a slight vibration at 1K rpm.
  • Front bumper cover is scraped up and cracked on the very bottom.
  • Headlights could probably use a restore (sandblasted)
  • Factory PPF on the rear bumper is cracked from age. I left it on as it still protects the bumper.

Reason for (possibly) selling: simply don’t drive enough anymore. May also be moving soon and will need AWD.

Send me a message if you’re interested, and we can talk. Feel like the price is extremely competitive given the maintenance history. Open to negotiating a bit, let me know.

What prompted the rod bearing change at 72k miles?

So the car is off market, but happy to answer. My oil pan gasket was leaking, and the selling dealer was paying for the repair. So while the oil pan was out, I had the rod bearings done preventatively.
