it says: SGBD Version: 3.000 (in INPA) SGBD Version: 16.001 INPA Version: 1.030 this is exactly how the pop up shows. could this be the issue? |

The car has folding mirrors from factory?
I've got some questions: -are the windows working? -can you adjust the mirror on the driver side? -can you adjust the mirror on the passenger side? -does the heating work for the mirrors? -did you flash correctly with winkfp? -post current vo from cas and nfrm What fault codes shows Rheingold? |

So let's get this right...
There is no power at all to your mirrors? No angle adjustment? No heating? No power folding? This seems like a power issue. Maybe a fuse? When you installed the FRM2 is it correctly wired in? |

Did you copy VO from CAS and write it to NFRM? If you just merely wrote vin and default coded the frm then that's not correct, you must copy the VO from CAS and write it to FRM and then code FRM

Yes, i did by this example. It's a little strange to me, because then i changed VIN with WinKFP, new VIN in NFRM is different from CAS, just last 7 symbols are the same.
One more question, where can i get checksum? Or how to calculate it? I have found another tutorial how to change VIN with tool32 but ir says to add VIN with checksum at the end. |

ALL GOOD!!!
I found a solution. Followed this tutorial step by step and it helped. http://blog.obdii365.com/2016/10/14/...et-update-frm/ This tutorial only shows how to set default values to FRM but it's enough. In this tutorial is not mentioned that you need change date in VO if you want to code newer version of FRM (in my case FRM2). After all steps just go to FRM code your stuff you want as usual. CHEERS Just in case I will paste tutorial here if page will be removed. EDITED: I skipped all WinKFP steps from this tutorial Last edited by ozerux; 11-25-2019 at 01:41 PM.. Reason: Forget to mention about WinKFP |
