Question GTS Flash ZB number for 2012 M3?

I've been reading through a few threads about the e9x M3 GTS flash.

My hardware # is 7642021, and it appears that zb#'s 7848442 and 7845773 aren't compatible with this HW# (according to what's in my latest GS40.DAT), and I saw on this thread (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1235314) that somebody attempted to flash 7848442 on HW# 7642021 and bricked his TCU.

Any suggestions on which ZB# to use for the GTS flash if I have HW# 7642021?

My current ZB# (stock, US) is 7847869.

Thank you!

7848442 should work with no issues. If you have all your coding setup, correct configuration, correct files, a battery charger, and reliable K+DCAN cable; then you should be good.

I flashed 7848442 and it worked just fine.. took about 10-12 minutes total with the bimmergeeks pro cable. What's interesting is that before the flash, my HW was 7642021. After I flashed 7848442, my HW is now 7844978. I only took it for a 5 minute test drive but all seems well so far. No errors.

Wrong forum, I recommend the f8x M3/M4 coding subforum!
