Formulating Arguments in Tool32
I'm trying to run the following command in tool32 in order to open up a slot for a key in the cas module: steuern_schluessel_freigeben
if I try to run the command as is, I get an error which I understand as incorrect syntax... how do I write in the correct arguments to open up key slot 5, for example? Thanks! |

That function only requires only one argument, key number. You are likely using an invalid key number.
It's for enabling a key that has already been assigned. In other words, if you'd lost a key, you'd use the companion function, steuren_schluessel_gesppert, to prevent its use by unauthorized persons. If you found the key later, you'd use steuren_schuessel_freigben to restore its functionality. I don't think you can enable any random key or enable a key number that hasn't been assigned. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? |

I was trying to get a new key to work with the car... I ended up returning the key (since my local stealership wasn't smart enough to know what was required to get the key to work and why it wasn't working when I tried to pair it). I got new keys made and paired to my CAS by G-coding from facebook. He turned it around quickly at at a reasonable price.
