Looking for English DSC INPA Script

I tried downloading the Bimmergeeks version of INPA, but my DSC module still comes up in German. Does anyone have an English DSC .IPO?

With your rep count, you have not learned German yet?

I do NOT have any formal training in German, but I have learned to use (effectively I hope ;-) an old version of INPA that is almost entirely in German. I have taken the time to save screenprints of nearly ALL INPA screens, by module, and to translate the Menus & Labels, as well as frequently-occurring terms used in Fault Code Details.

My 2007 328xi has a DSC/DXC module since it has xDrive, but if you do ScreenPrints (SaveAs jpg file after pasting to Paint) of any specific screens you want translated related to the DSC Module, and attach them here, I will help, at least to get you started. If you have general questions about WHAT data (such as Wheel Speed Sensor Readout) INPA can provide, and HOW to view that data in real time, I can also assist.

Values (numbers) & Fault Codes are in numbers & letters. Fault Code Definitions and SOME Value Labels are in German, but there's Google Translate to save the day. Here's the German to English Home Page:
https://translate.google.com/#view=h...te&sl=de&tl=en

The BMW Standard Tools (INPA) MEGA download linked on the BimmerGeeks "Downloads" site is supposed to have as much German to English Translation as any version available.

I have been using an older version of INPA that contains VERY LITTLE English translation. Actually, if you are familiar with the proper technical terms and understand the systems involved and how they are designed to work, you get a better result by taking the time to do your own translation. For instance the "volunteer committee" that did one of the translations came up with something like "Print Coolant" for the A/C high side Pressure Sensor Label which is properly translated "Refrigerant Pressure" (Druck Kältemittel).

Apparently German uses fewer works than English, and the intended meaning depends upon CONTEXT: Druck can mean Print, Press, Pressure, Push, etc. You will Note that F9 Function Key in the "Status Bar" below many screens is labeled "Druck" which in that context DOES mean "Print", and if you press that, you will get a printout of the screen displayed when you pressed F9, if/when you are connected to a printer.

Since I grew up with Jaguars, and had to learn terms such as Boot, Bonnet, Facia Panel Ditty Box, Near Side, Off Side (NOT Far Side ;-) it was NOT a complete stretch to figure learning a little German might help with a Bimmer.

I recommend downloading the bimmergeeks rheingold (ista) download. Easier to use than inpa especially since yours isn't translated for that certain section

bimmergeeks.net standard tools and ista D and there cable if you
don't have one. They have the most English Inpa. There were discussion
here on making a totally English one I guess that one did not make
it all the way for technical reasons.
Ista D for diagnostics is way more powerful than Inpa is the way to go.
But for coding you must use the standard tools suite.

I do have ISTA/D, but there are some things that INPA does that ISTA/D doesn't do, such as the DSC bleed procedure. I may reach out to bimmergeeks and ask them if they have the English DSC IPO. I do know it exists since I've seen people use it and have screenshots of it, but the Bimmergeeks version I downloaded was still in German.

I determined how to do the bleed procedure by watching someone else's and interpreting it with Google translate, but it would be great to not have to do that

This was the only serious attempt to make one.

I don't know where you got your ISTA from but it does the bleed procedure. I've used it a few times.

Can you walk me through how to activate it? My version says to open up DIS and run it from there.

DIS is not Ista where did you get your downloads?
Or your source disk? DIS is a pre Ista program.
