Hi folks. I've had my 2011 320d efficient dynamics now for over 5 years. It was completely stock when I purchased it. It was around 70k on the clock and has now done 161k. The largest bill so far was the timing chain issue that these cars suffer from, which resulted in a 5k bill. Besides that, the clutch has been changed as well as normal wear and tear stuff like brakes and shocks etc. On the inside, the interior is now completely Msport. The audio has also been overhauled and is now up to a standard I like. The angel eyes have LEDs as well as the interior courtesy and dome lights. The only small exterior mod I did was change the grille to black. I intend to keep the car until it actually dies. What else can I do to it now besides changing the wheels and putting Msport body kit on it? I'm thinking more engine and mechanical to prolong its life. For those of you with efficient dynamics, any pointers or even previous discussions would be appreciated. Thanks.

best advice i can give is,,,nowt,,wait till it owes you nowt,,then get an n57 engined bmw,,or even an older m57,,,

What has generally kept me holding onto this one is the fuel economy and the road tax. I have a weekday commute of just over 80miles and getting approx 700 miles out of a full tank is great, as well as the £20 road tax.
