I hit the track today for the first time with the Pure stage 2. I am really happy with the trap speed. The ET needs a little improvement though. I know that I have a minor boost leak that I hope will be fixed tomorrow night. Other than that the car was SLOW off the line. I would hold the gas to the floor brake boosting on the line and I would just have to wait until the car woke up.

Fuel used was:
2 ish gallons of 92 octane
3 gallons of 100 unleaded
2 gallons of E85

The girlfriend filmed the runs and the camera work isn't the best but it is better than nothing.

*Side note*
I saw ETS GTR break the world trap speed record with a 213 mph pass on a stock chassis car.

My four runs were:
12.6 @ 122 mph
12.4 @ 122 mph
12.4 @ 118 mph
12.0 @ 125 mph

Since I was only targeting 20.5 psi, have a boost leak, and haven't perfected launching this setup I would guess that I could hit mid 11's with a trap near 130 mph. We will see what happens next season.

^ 120+MPH traps are doing good. If you can get that launch down that car is easily in the 11's

I set a few personal goals after that run...

1. I want to launch hard without spinning in 1st (possibly slicks if thats what it takes)
   
2. Get a 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds (4.0-4.99)
   
3. Reach a 12 second quarter mile
   
4. 60 foot under 2 seconds
   
5. Constantly run R/Ts under .500

I feel like these should be fairly easy to reach. Hopefully within the next couple runs.

Those OEM run flats are just terrible for the dragstrip

Dont even worry about R/T's... Work on learning how to launch the car. R/T's don't have any affect on ET's.

Depending on how bad wheel spin is in 1st I would try a 2nd gear launch.

Is it common to experience broken axles from hard launches on slicks? Im looking at getting a pair of P245/40R18 Hoosier D.O.T. Drag Radial 2 but have been warned that I might break axles...

While you're right about R/Ts not having an affect on ETs, it looks soooo slow on video when you have a really bad R/T haha

Skip 1st...Launch in 2nd gear, get tach to 2500-3000k with power brake. Faster time for sure

I've done a bit of practice and found once in LC mode back off the kickdown but still full throttle and it turns off LC and as revs drop to around 2500-3000 rpm let go of brake!! Any your away... do pre burnout to warm up the Tyers ....

Nice, you should be able to get a little quicker 60 foot with xdrive. I managed a 1.83 last year on just a JB4 map 2 (stock intercooler, downpipe, air filter, etc). Track opens up on April 28th here, cant wait to get the car out now with methanol, cat-less downpipe, and a custom e30 tune.

i did constant 1.7 on jb4 map 2 ( e90 2011 x drive ) a best of 12.7

brake boost and let go off the brakes at 2500-3000 rpm and THERE YOU GO

now i got catless dp jb4+mhd bef and methanol map 3 20.5 psi peak


im going back on april 17th ! ill post results !
