E92 Amp/Sub Upgrade

Sorry if this has been covered but I can’t seem to find the information I’m looking for.

I have a base sound system in my car with stock h/u and I-Drive, no amp in the boot, I have a feeling this may have been upgraded at some point as the sound quality doesn’t sound to bad but I want a bit more bass, I want to add an amp and a sub, does anyone know of a guide that shows the best way to do this?

Again sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn’t find it.

Thanks.

Yes, covered a lot (and Ctuna has all the right links, as always!).

The easiest way to just add sub/amp is to use technic base harness, and use that to connect the amp.
You could also use a typical LOC (not plug and play like the harness), but just make sure to tap the signal from the underseat woofers, others are likely high passed.

Very easy with a LOC such as LC2i or LC7, tap into your factory subwoofer wires and that's how you get your signals, you'll be able to add a aftermarket amp and install subwoofers.
