If you don't like it that's up to you. It's your taste mate. Like I said before some people will like it and some won't and your one of them and that's fair enough.

Thanks

No problem at all.

If you have any problem sourcing anything else for your car, just give Will (willhollin) a PM. Sytner & Anneka are great for all of your mainstream needs, but if it's something completely out of the ordinary, then it's Will you need. He's a friendly individual & has the resources to acquire pretty much anything you may be after, as long as it's under around £49.95. He was apparently involved in a little 'indiscretion' with a local parts rep from Grimsby not so long ago. Unfortunately, the rep's mother happened to be going out with one of Will's Eastern European suppliers at the time. He's lucky it was only his credit rating that was cut as a result of that episode. Hopefully, it will improve after he finishes his probation, sometime in the summer.
It would also appear that he has a load of Geeci sunglasses available as well:

Name: Will.jpg
Views: 474
Size: 17.0 KB

He was recently telling me about some train device he'd tailored to meet the needs of several blokes at the very same time. Unfortunately, I wan't really listening to a word he was saying- that's Christmas get-together's for you, I suppose. I'm guessing it's something to get you to the station quicker, but I'm not sure if that's the police station or the train station.

He asked if I'd try & let members know of a stockpile of masks he has going spare, from last Halloween, due to some problem with the post office & a load of party invites going missing. So, if you're interested in a witch's hat, a pseudo sado outfit, a 'williamised' mankini or a plain old gimp mask, then just get in touch with him. It's not likely to be of much use, if you're after a flasher, but it may well help to scare one off, should you ever find yourself in such an unwanted predicament.

There's a lot of friendly members on here, so don't be afraid to ask other questions concerning your BMW. I'm sure everyone will be more than pleased to help you out.

Best wishes.

Viv

That reminds me of another episode involving Will, a chip pan, a ridiculous bet & a broken fire extinguisher. I'll leave that well alone, for now.

OP: Can you post a video of this when done along with yourself? I want to see the mod and have assurance that you really fitted it / are not just advertising etc.

I am interested.

I did fit it my self really easy to do mate. I have already fitted the blue LEDs and hidden the wires under all the wires I got a video of them on and I just fitted them 2 days before christmas here one of the video. I will mess around tomorrow to find the foglight fuse once I sorted I will up load other video

Plus am not running the LEDs with the car battery as I don't want, so am using a 9v battery.

Oh my god!! I am so pleased I stumbled across this thread as over the xmas period, I have been subtly modifying my E90 M3.

I had some graphics made to my own design in UK streetracer style - these were applied to the sides of the vehicle and am sure you will agree look very striking

I than fitted the flashing blue lights to the front bumper like 'Business Edition' has done - I chose to mount mine externally though rather than behind the grille. The wide open air intake of the M3 makes an ideal location for a discrete install.

My 'Police-de-resistance' though is the roof mounted strobes - I tapped into fuse 33 so they come on along with my heated seats (great for keeping the seat warm whilst out of the vehicle chatting to members of the public )

Let me know what you all think folks

That looks awesome mate really does, did the police say anything to you?
Some people won't like what you did, but at the end of the day you have to like it right?

Like some people don't like what I have done but who cares what they think.

But your car looks awesome like that really love it I need to find the fuse for the foglights.

So as these police lights are for show use does that mean you are only going to use them while sat in car parks late at night?

The local scrotes that frequent the car park outside my gym have all sorts of junk from Halfords but I'm still yet to see any with police lighting.

Yes sir, we hold car meets in a private car, I wouldn't have them on everytime plus I could leave it on walk as it would drain my car battery. Well at are car meets we don't chavy cars or joyride etc.

I haven't seen it on many car only a few on YouTube and I know this one dude who's got it on his car.

To truley convince the public you are a copper then you ought to turn off your fog lights.. Not many coppers roll around with theirs on.

Call me old fashioned but I only use my fog lights when it's foggy.
Surely if your aim is to damage other drivers eyesight then keeping your full beams on would yield better results.

No they don't mate, mainly because they don't want to look like "tools" and two because it's illegal.
