What is strange is that the HPFP looks great in terms of pressure but you are throwing all those codes pointing to it. Keep digging and something will stand out.
Update. In preparing to do a few more pulls, the car died again and wouldn’t turn over for 45min. Gave up trying to diagnose it and went to the dealer. HPFP was dead. So apparently, for as good as the pump pressure can be in some runs, it can just as quickly fail without showing signs of it. Fixed for free under the recall. At least it’s solved

So I switched to 8.0 like some people are suggesting based on my poll, and everybody says it pulls stronger but I honestly felt like its not even close. So I put the logger... after like 5600 rpm the throttle plate closes on its own which is causing obviously the lack in power. What is causing that? I don't get that on 7.1? I wanted to switch because people said that 8.0 had less "random corrections" when normal driving and i'm sick of seeing cyl 4 spike to -4/-5 during highway cruise control lol.

What gives? What am I missing here?

First time posting in here. Just got tune from wedge. First one, hasn't been revised yet. e50 Catless dp and 5" intercooler. 3.5 bar map sensor. I'm getting overboost codes, but I think something's wrong with tune not being scaled for map sensor. Max target is only like 18.5 but I'm hitting 21-22. Most other e50 logs max effort are around 21-22 psi, in thinking something off with scaling. I have the mhd n20 map sensor option selected. Deselecting it resulted in 2ABD and rough idle.

Kens on vacation so I just wanted to get others opinion on this. Car runs great. It's very hot here in Ohio right now.

Flashed v5 e40 few days ago which is supposed to be very aggressive with 21.5 psi boost target.

So far I feel a lot more power with V8 E50. can easily spin the wheels under 45mph on V8 E50 and v5 e40 can't do it even at 30 mph.
poor test of power I know.. going to get a log of v5e40 shortly but seems like V8 E50 is mhds strongest tune

still haven't tried the v7 maps but looking at my V8 logs I'm not getting the throttle closure you had. Can you post the log

You can see you are at boost target/slightly over which is what is causing the throttle closure. DME is limiting throttle to counteract the potential over boosting

I would wait for Ken to look at it. Just one revision can fix most issues in the Tune.
Make sure he knows you have a 3.5 tmap.

Post up logs of both maps. I'd like to see those.

That sounds good to me. I'm not the most patient person when it comes to the fun stuff like this... Feel like a kid waiting for Santa to come LOL! It does give me a little more time to work out the fueling though, as my fuel mixture definitely needed a bit more E. There was probably some residual 93 still in the tank prior to mixing.

Yeah you just started at the wrong time.
I'm sure you will see a revision once he returns if you sent in enough logs.

If your tuner wanted you to run a 50/50, that is about E45 FYI.

Yep, We are doing a E50 blend, which is about 3 Gallons of E85, and 2.4 Gallons of Shell Vpower 93. (its around 6% Ethanol Content) Stock turbos, DP/IC/CP. I just wasnt sure how the whole scaling thing works for that MAP sensor. I just dont want to be chasing down hardware issues. I really don't think it is though, the car is consistently making the exact boost, and everything else is spot on. Cars never given me issues, and has all maint taken care of, from plugs, to injectors to VC/VCG to walnut blast. This is the first time ive ever had a check engine light. LOL!

132k, the solenoids have about 40k on them

You're not really that far off and I saw the same thing with the MHD maps.
As soon as I went custom tune my targets are very very good now.

You've got timing corrections on 4 of 6 cylinders and although the AFRs look OK, the values are very slow on returning to 255 when you let off the throttle, particularly on bank 1. Suggests injectors on the way out.

Also, spool is slow in 2nd gear (i.e. you don't approach target boost until 4K rpm). This isn't the best way to log - get to 2500 rpm in third and then got WOT.

Odd wiggles in rpm without throttle closures, maybe tire slip?

Took a single gear pull if anyone else wanted to see my wacky over boost log. Also noticing fuelling (STFT's) are way low, -30%. I'm assuming that means i need more E in the mixture.

Any reason a HPFP spikes and then dips down to 1100 PSI on WOT at low rpm? (4K) its only that low for less than a second, then begins climbing to 2200 psi at redline.
