Transmission

Okay so I was having rough shifts on and off for about a month. Had a bad coolant temp sensors I replaced that along with coils and spark plugs. Battery was unhooked for about two hours after everything was done my gas mileage went up and my transmission issues seemed to have gone away.... Only to come back last night? Idk what to do now? Maybe the coolant sensor went bad again if so what could cause that to keep going bad also have a new at water pump and tstat!
