Car shaking helppp
Hey guys,
So today I brought my car to BMW of Bloomfield for a complimentary detail provided from my service advisor. When I go to pick up my car the vallet drives it up and immediately I could hear that something wasn't right when I get closer the car is making a rough banging noise I pop the hood and the noise is louder and the engine is shaking up and down also my check engine light is on I have no idea what's the problem they said they will look into it . Anyone have any thoughts on this and what i should do? Please help I have a 07 335i |

Fuel pump...Carbon build up.....faulty fuel injectors....spark plugs....It can any one of those. Chime back and tell us what it was. The diagnostics will pin point exactly whats going on.

Unless they took it for a spin.... thats why always take a picture of your odometer when take it to the dealership. Ive heard lots of bad stories.

They will take care of it..Your under warranty right? If not the fuel pump is free nonetheless. They couldn't have caused its most probably a coincidence it happened the same time you brought it in.
BTW i would never detail my car at BMW. I've seen their "detail" and they do a half ass job. Well the dealer closest to me anyways. |

My experience is also the ignition coil. If you have a code reader, get it read and you will have a better idea. Eccentric Shaft Sensor is another possibility.
