Brave man...... she is paying half though so have to tow the line to a point.

I have a Pioneer 42" Plasma and it is amazing. Its not even full HD, but with HD material it looks way better than any of the (Sony, Pansonic, Toshiba...) Full HD spec machines. The only thing that I would consider over the Pioneers is the Samsung OLED units that are 1" deep and very impressive. Im not sure there better than the Pioneer, but for wall mounting, being so slim is definitely an advantage.
