It was a Lancer Evolution. All Evos are Lancers but not all Lancers are Evos.

Umm shoot the tires, back a car behind him, spike strip. Dont think he deserved to be shot 6 times and be put into a critical condition by police.

+1 maybe the guy had some kind of imbalance and he snapped... definitely did not deserve this. Poor kid, a victim of some cops with itchy trigger fingers.

Clearly we don't know all the facts of the case, so we can't really say if he deserved to be shot or not. If he was driving towards a cop or pedestrians, that would be cause to use lethal force. But again, we don't know any facts, especially from this poorly written and obviously not fact-checked article....

I heard the driver owns only BMWs since 16. His friend lend him an EVO for test drive to experience the 4wd performance. However, the car was so horrible during the drive he snapped and went nuts. As far as shooting, the cops were haters can't swallow a young guy driving an expensive car. ;-)

(What I said above is pure friction inspired by some ridiculous comments I have heard in car forums)

Sideways on two wheels huh? Did you count em' Kim? Did you also notice any robotic instruments or limbs coming out of the side of the vehicle? Maybe it was a transformer?
