First time poster and Q for e92 owners

I reread the manual over the weekend... there was a star next to the tool's name.
Feel pretty stupid now. How do I delete this thread?

Hey all.
I picked up my monaco blue/grey leather e92 a month ago. So far loving the car.
I've been kinda lurking and enjoying reading the posts since I'm not really a car enthusiast and all--maybe someday that will change but not in any immediate future.

I do have a question for fellow e92 owners. I recently found out that my tool box is missing the allen wrench that was supposed to be used to open the sunroof manually (p. 39 of the manual). My sales guy (is this the guy commonly referred to as CA?) tells me that e92's usually come with a couple of tools missing. I was like, why would they say it's found in the tool box in the manual if they are not going to put it in there to begin with?

So in sum, is anyone missing any tool from their tool box or is it just me?

Thanks for reading, any input will be appreciated.

I picked up my car in SC at the PCD, my whole tool kit was missing. I wrote to BMW (as suggested) via the Owners Circle website and they shipped me one (upgraded full tool kit) ASAP.

I think they'd do the same for you.

Enjoy your car...welcome.

Thanks for the welcome and reply.

I've talked to my sales guy and he said that he'll look into it, but haven't heard from him today. He ignored my two emails about the issue, so I'm not holding my breath on this.
I doubt that I'll need the wrench but I just don't like seeing an empty space in the box.

I'll try calling him again soon and if he doesn't come through I'll write BMW.

Thanks again.

Haha, I would've posted the pics if my car was anything special, but it's just a boring old stock e92 w/ step... (of course, I don't find it boring at all... )

I'm planning on getting the windows tinted, so maybe after getting that done I'll post some pics.

Thanks for the welcome.

Did you check your trunk? It's supposed to be on your right hand side under a cover.
