DCT Flash to Behave like M-DCT
Is there anyway to flash our non-M DCT transmissions to behave more like an M DCT? The behavior I'm interested in is when you release the brake from a stop the car does not roll forward. Rather, it will start to engage the clutch and roll forward when you press the gas. Whereas a non-M DCT will start engaging the clutch and rolling forward once you release the brakes, mimicking an automatic.

You'll also need to change the final drive ratio to something close to the M3 DCT's 3.15 to work with the software. I used the complete M3 drivetrain with a custom 2.81 gear from a 850i. They both use the 210mm diff so the R & P are interchangable.

Xhp makes it behave like a DCT in an M car with their flash. I believe it's only for the ZF6 or ZF8 speeds though.

This would require a customized version of the TCU software. Maybe if the XHP team are able to support the DCT transmission some day, we'll have this
