Help finding MOST loop for satellite radio!!

I need to bypass my satellite radio module as it has gone bad.
I have bought 2 different MOST loops off Amazon and neither one of them fit the satellite radio module.
They fit the TCU but not satellite so BMW is using different plugs.

Can someone please point me to a loop that fits that satellite radio module?!?

you can do it without a bypass loop
just take the satellite radio cables out of the MOST junction like how I did it in this video

I really knew nothing about how the MOST system worked as I haven't had any problems with mine. This was good to watch, learned a little something thanks.

That does seem to be the first to go. Mine crapped out and caused all kinds of odd behavior. Could finally figure out it was the culprit because when looking at its outbound fiber it was solid instead of searching (flashing) when disconnected.

My solution was to replace it with the MOST bluetooth box for audio (since my car was old and didnt have the upgraded module.

I am trying to diagnose what my actual problem is.
I still have audio, just no Bluetooth phone or BMW SOS/Assist.... so it's intermittent problem and I want to find a MOST loop to fit the sat radio module to see if that is what's causing the issues or if it truly is my TCU.

There is always the chance it is my amp too I suppose.

The end's on Most of the Most Jumpers you buy are reconfigurable.

https://www.amazon.com/Mellbree-Conn...9KZWP19M&psc=1

This gives you one Male and on Female jumper.
The center will slide out and there is a blue pin which holds
the fiber in place . But really if you are at the Sat module one of them
should work.

Your suppose to put the jumper on the end of the Most cable that is presently
plugged into the satellite module not the Sat Module.
Making the Most loop bypass the Sat module .

Maybe you should put up pictures of what you are doing.

The MOST connection into the sat module has the extra little connector for the power for the fan, not the same as the MOST connection for the TCU

I’m honestly trying to figure out my issue.
My Bluetooth and sat aren’t working at all, SOS error.
But, I still have audio for aux, radio, CD… and j still gave door chimes.

All the Videos/post I see are completely dead no sound issues, which mine isn’t.

Mine is either: my amp, TCU, or satellite module but hard to tell because other audio is still working, so I’m at a lose really and trying to diagnose

The ends of the plugs are reconfigurable .
There is a small clip inside of the main one that allows you to release the inner assembly.

If you have the Hi Fi sound system the connection to the amp is analog
and will not be effected by most bus problems. It will still play even if the Most Bus is down.

Hi Fi is option 676
Verify it win Mdecoder.com

In my case I'd get missing module errors randomly at first. Like the sat module was messing up the signal but still letting it pass through.

But then it just cratered and all sound stopped (MOST amp)z when trading I could see with power on the sat just blasted a solid light signal. Pulling it from the loop resolved everything. And yeah I just disassembled the plug, removed the power plugs, and used it to power my Bluetooth module.

I definitely have the hifi sound system and amp. I do not have idrive.
This is the first I’ve read that the Hi-Fi system still works without the MOST system… I confirmed this by unplugging the TCU (first in-line after the amp) and my audio STILL works

So… does this mean my issue is truly a bad module with a short in it somewhere, possibly from water ingress as these are known to get wet and corrode over time.
I don’t care about my sat radio, but would like Bluetooth phone to work again without too much trouble- I guessthis means new TCU or swapping to MULF and coding? I don’t need MULF2 since I do not have or need USB audio… I’m good with just my aux audio.

I’ll still bypass my sat radio module- don’t know if it works or not and I don’t care.

My issue seems different than 99% of the post/videos I’ve seen where it’s a MOST system issue and complete audio failure - which isn’t my situation.

Where the hell does the water come into these cars at? Sunroof drains or trunk/tail light seal?

Audio usually only goes bad when you have a Top Hi Fi aka Harmon Kardon
aka Logic 7 system where the amp is part of the most loop,

In the Hi Fi system the amp is not part of the Most system.

Water on the Amp will destroy either amp but you said you didn't have sound problems.
If the amp is wet it may die slowly but you said no sound problems.

Thanks for the help.
Like i said, your post was the first time I had read the "premium hifi" (non logic 7) sound system does NOT run on the MOST fiber optic system.

I found a loop cable and bypassed my satellite radio module which was causing my issues. My TCU is working properly and I have Bluetooth phone audio back.
Crisis adverted.
