How much drop H&R sports springs with sport suspension?

I'm looking at getting the H&R sport springs and the advertised front and rear drop is 1.3" front and 1.2" inch rear. It also says it varies depending on if car has factory sport suspension or not. Being a 335is my car has it.

Now my issue is I wanted to check with others and know how much it dropped for you? Because from the pictures below, the front is a perfect drop right above the tire but the rear would drop way to much mid tire. From the pictures I seen the drop is not as aggressive in the rear. I was hoping the front drops as advertised but the rear will possibly not move much but I don't know.

It varies a lot from car to car. Depending on car specs, if it's sagging at all from original height, mounts used, etc.

Generally H&R sport will slightly tuck front and rear so it's a fairly aggressive drop.

For my taste, the rear sits about right but the front should be higher. This can be accomplished via e30 front spring perches and one of the 2 varying thicknesses of e30 pads, which also increases travel and ride quality.

With H&R sports, e36 M3 front and Z4 rear bumpstops are essential or the ride will be unbearable. I would also highly recommend raising the front a bit via those perches/pads as we're already pretty limited on front travel and you will have very little left at standard H&R sport height.

Even though exact drop will vary a bit between cars, usually lowering springs go from highest to lowest as follows:

Dinan
Eibach Pro kit
H&R Sport
Swift Spec R
Tein S Tech

In short, H&R sport is a good choice and pairs really well with Koni Yellows especially if using the aforementioned bumpstops and perches.

Good luck!
