Yep if they made an intake and sold it for around $500, made a perf. chip like the SSTT and sold it for around $600, and sold the perf. exhaust for around $800 they would sell pretty well.

I do think the performance suspension is not priced too poorly (once you factor in the Tischer discount)

Werd. Why bother even having a "BMW Performance" parts list without practically anything for the 335? What a joke.

I remain optimistic that a more complete set of parts offerings are eventually going to get here. Probably some dork in marketing worried about releasing the tii first.

Really? I want to believe it, but I swear everything I've heard (including from Tischer guys, who know their stuff) was that this is a nay.

I thought there was a possibility that the tii was a no-go, like the M3 CSL? Maybe I am wrong...

Anywhoo...I am willing to bet that the intake, like the software update, it going to cost a pretty penny. Kind of like the Dinan flash--they will be conservative in gains, but you will keep your warranty. Just comes down to what you want to do.

Considering our best source for parts and part info says it isn't happening, I'm speculating.

Also, there have been many parts in past press releases that missed their stated launch dates by MANY MANY months. I have my fingers crossed, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Are you referring to a newer press release than the one 14 months old on page one of this thread? Sorry if you're jsut being sarcastic and I'm missing that.

No, not being sarcastic. In the NEW press release, before the chapter about BMW Performance Power Kit (at the end of the document - page 71), there is this chapter (but indeed, they do not specify for which models it does apply, unlike the Power Kit which has the models specified):

Interesting. Well, I'm hopeful...but I'll believe it when I see it. It's been over a year since it was supposed to come out before, and everyone "in the know" says it's not happening.

As far as the e-diff crap goes, it's near worthless anyway, but jspira actually found out that this "ediff" feature is something that was also installed on 03/08+ 3-series (or maybe 335 only?), and is active when DSC and DSC are turned off.

I'll try to find the link.

Here it is (first page): http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=diff+DCT+DSC

And, as excited as I am for these BMW performance parts, I don't see any of them being priced reasonably. I'd be very surprised. They know they have you by the balls with the warranty crap, so they price accordingly.

Patience, we don't expect it to pop up until April in Euro and ? knows when in USA. But, like the Perf tune w/ cooling, it seems fairly certain to hit the market this spring/summer.

Looks like it's one giant step closer to a fail. Performance tune and new parts are out...no intake in sight.
