Not a twin but more like a younger cousin, 2011 323i lol

also if u want to do something crazy with ur wheels u can do a stud conversion with spiked lugs like me, and get the powder coated/painted gold/black/same color as rotors

some people love em some hate em but i think its looks badass

Very nice! I do have the Macht Schnell stud conversion in my wishlist. Would pair it with some Project Kics R40 lugs when I get around to it. Not sure how I feel about the spikes to be honest but to each their own! Thanks for sharing.

They're great, only thing is slight rust build up inside the drills and slots... I had mentioned this in response to a comment on the previous page. Going to get in there and clean them out once winter is finished.

I messaged R1 about this and apparently they spray the rotors with the anti-rust coasting BEFORE drilling and slotting... therefore the drills and slots are left without the coating. Why they do this? I have no idea : . They said I could spray them with the coating myself so might do that...

Inside the holes and slots isn't a big deal, if you were really worried, you could clean them up and just paint them, the excess paint would be rubbed away quickly.

Car is at the shop now. I did sell the old wheels for about $1000 which was great for me .

Here is a quick teaser of some of the parts going in (few things missing here). Will be updating later next week with some helpful info I learned along the way.

Glad you got some money for the wheels so you can purchase your new set. Those are sweet and I know it has an aggressive offset too! Just make sure you miss those potholes in NJ!

Alright guys so I finally got around to taking some pictures of how I sit currently. Will have a professional shoot done soon, just took these quickly on my iPhone today. It was a really long process getting these wheels to fit and they still aren't exactly how I want them, but will get there eventually.

Shout out to Redline Speed Worx for taking care of all of this!

Wheels

Wheel size: 19x9.5 +22 19x11 +25
Tire size: 235/35/19 x 265/30/19

In order to get these wheels to fit properly you are going to have to run camber. I was hoping to be able to stay on stock camber arms and run around -2.7 in the rear (about as much as you can get out of stock) but I was rubbing like crazy. Ended up purchasing SPC adjustable rear camber arms running -3.6 rear. I really didn't want to go above -3.0 in the rear as I'm not a big fan of camber, but I had to in order to avoid rubbing. I could have raised the car and stayed with -2.7 but it's already higher than I would like. The front gave me no problems, running about -1.6.

I haven't rolled or pulled the fenders yet... looking to have that done and hopefully be able to drop the car slightly (and dial the camber down to around -3.0 if possible)

After a lot of research I went with Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2. I really wanted Michelin Pilot Sport 4s but was informed that that have a very large, high sidewall. I knew I was going to have trouble fitting the wheels as is so I had to pick a tire with a thinner sidewall. The Hankooks had pretty good reviews so I went with those (also heard Nitto Invo and Continental DW are an options).

Last note, I wanted gloss black wheels but couldn't wait the 8 weeks for them. Mashimarho had a set of gunmetal up for sale so I ended up going with those. Was originally thinking I could always paint them but this color is definitely growing on me!

Intercooler
The VRSF 7in HD FMIC is a beast. Looks so clean and definitely helps keep temps. down. That being said, with changing the wheels and tires at the same time, I cant tell if the car is pulling harder from weight reduction/better traction or the intercooler. Definitely both but hard to say which is helping more. Hoping to get on the dyno soon.

Other
Had my cyba scoops installed as well. Definitely a nice touch but if I could go back I would order Mashimarho scoops. They're way bigger and come painted yellow which would have saved me time.

The Project Kics R40 iConix are definitely a clean look. Really love the way the black contrasts with the gunmetal wheels.

Unfortunately the Maxton Designs side skirt extensions I had didn't fit my car. Had to sell them on the M3 forum. Looking to get a different set soon.

I'm definitely leaving some things out here... it was a very long learning process. If anyone is looking to run the same setup feel free to ask me any questions you have!

Damn! looks amazing! and yeah I feel you about the camber but to pull off SDC you need it. For the front you should need around -2 - -3 max, if you get m3 front control arms it adds a bunch of negative and if you punch out the strut pin you should be able to get more. Keep us updated!
