I want to set up a 1/4 mile drag private event at Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga).

Don't know their availability, but I was hoping for a Friday evening or sometime on Saturday/Sunday. Will contact them for costs.

In any event, I want to keep this a limited, private event. I hear there are test and tunes where you can go and drag - maybe 5 or 6 runs over a 4 hour period, but when you get as old as me, you get impatient and don't like lining up. So I'm thinking paying a little more and dragging the 1/4 mile until your car breaks...

Let's race. Would entertain some side bets. With the 75 shot nitrous I just installed the other day, I'm ready to put down some money to back up my mouf.

Thinking sometime in April!

Who's interested?

Cost is whats going to attract or sway people away from this... test and tune nights, as far as I remember, is around $20?

Ideally the best runs are going to be around 5pm since the sun would be shining on the tarmac all day long heating it up.... mmm sticky tarmac lol... and the temps would start dropping a bit to cool down the car and make more POWAHHH...

I'm potentially in for either a drag run or a circuit track like mosport/shannonville, etc.

Haha, I'm in, even if I'm slow as hell.

I think renting the track for a private event is going to very cost prohibitive but maybe Nate can pay for everyone else.

don't worry soni, we will track together this summer! last summer was a write off due to the cafe opening, but this summer I hope to get out a lot more!

never done a 1/4 run though, but the thrill of racing someone else at the stoplight sounds intriguing.

Nah, trying to get a good time probably means I will have some urges to mod the car more, OR, get a new car...
