E92 M3 Carbon Leather Trim

After I bought my 335 back in 2008, I told myself that I wouldn't be modding this car at all. Coming from a Turbo IS300 that was no longer streetable, I figured that I would be somewhat sensible this time around. Flash forward a few months, and I convinced myself that if I stuck to OEM parts that I wasn't really crossing the line...

So far so good...

M-Tech rear bumper
Aero lip
BMW Performance black kidney grilles
BMW Performance Style 313 wheels
BMW Performance suede shift boot/e-brake with silver handles
328 black lower grilles

I recently sat in a E92 M3 with carbon leather trim and instantly took a liking to it. Don't get me wrong, I love my brushed aluminum trim. BUT, it shows wear & tear very easily.

My question is: Are the E92 M3 dash & door trim pieces interchangeable with the non-m E92?

I looked up the part #'s for the aluminum trim in the E92 M and the E92 335. The dash trim pieces were different part #'s yet look to be the exact same shape(s).

I know I'll have to wrap the center console trim separately (with plain black leather).

Thanks in advance!

The M3 center console is black and not CF. Other than that I don't think the parts are any different

Thanks.

One of my friends works for BMW NA and gets me some pretty good deals, hopefully I can snag a good deal on these trim pieces too!

Yeah, I think they'll fit just fine.

They will fit but will cost you $$$$ - why don't you wrap your aluminium trim with CF 3M material yourself? Lots of guys have done it on this forum and it looks excellent as well as being much much cheaper.

I've seen a bunch of cars that were done professionally and by vendors on this forum. Although they are decent quality, they're not perfect. No aftermarket vendor will ever match the quality of OEM. I'm willing to pay a price for that.

The aftermarket CF wrap just isn't my cup of tea. Thanks for the recommendations though.
