Arizona emissions for x5d? Mileage in hot climate?
I am going to be moving to AZ this summer? Anything special I need to know about AZ emissions testing? My 09 x5d is stock with no current codes. It just hit 10 years old so all the emissions warranty extensions are over. There is no emissions testing in FL. I assume the AZ test is to hook up and look for codes and possibly readiness?
How does the M57 do in hot areas? Here in FL we are rarely in the high 90s. But on those hoter days I get bad mileage (-2 mpg). How will I do when it is 115 in AZ? Thermostat was changed a couple of years ago. thanks |

I sent you a PM. Diesels love heat. Overall mpg in Phoenix, AZ has averaged 31.5mpg. Snot bad, IMO.
