Easiest way to disable TPMS & Enable FTM

Title states it. I have the Bimmergeeks KDCAN cable and want to know what is the easiest way for me to accomplish removing tpms and enabling ftm. I know I have to unplug the module.

Should I buy the bimmergeeks canned coding or is it worth it for me to E code the old fashioned way?

Easiest - pay someone else to do it.
Cheapest - do it yourself using NCS Expert and NCS Dummy. The process is pretty well documented.

It's not that difficult to pick up coding for the E9x series. The hardest part is gathering the information and the software tools. There are tons of threads.

Follow this. It's a step by step. I've used it dozens of times and it works.

this.

I did it successfully a few weeks ago when my RDC unit checked out due to corrosion.

strangely it was the only module back there with a damaged harness, and there were 0 signs of water intrusion. No tracking, no stains, nothing.

I think RDCs just suck.

I bought the bimmergeek coding app and disabled TPMS. Very easy. However, my FTM isnt enabling. I added it in the coding menus, but it didnt do anything for me. Was i not supposed to disable all 3 TPMS options?

Did you reset FTM? Car stopped, engine on, select Reset in the iDrive menu.
