Can I reset the FRM module with the app? I have the coding option purchased but want to know if I can reset the FRM module before I buy the second part of the app. One of my fog lights is not getting power from the module.

Also, is it just me or did the price jump up on the app?

After some initial success I've ran into some issues with my car, hope someone can help me figure this one out.

I've imported a 2006 330Xi from the USA to Europe and tried coding the Antenna & CIC to European radio format. So far all seems to be fine, however recently I am unable to select FM or AM from the entertainment source menu in my car.
Resetted it back to US settings, that seemed to work, coded it back to European again, still worked just fine, however when i started my car again this morning the FM/AM were grayed out again.

Did I mess it up or simply forgot to code something in to make this work flawlessly?

Vehicle software (if needed):
ANT Tuner - 05.10.2009 - version 9185625

Noo by how much $? That would suck for those like me who are waiting until I get injectors to pick up the app

I think by $15 each feature.
The coding used to be $50 and the diagnostics was $70.
Now it’s $65 and $85.

Is there a menu location to check and see if the SPBR coding worked?
BimmerGeeks

Any insights into this? I’ve tried many times and this is where I keep getting hung up...

Yea not too bad.
Still waiting to hear from someone that it can clear frm codes before I buy the diagnostics.

What I really want them to do is be able to code the BC screen so it shows what gear you’re in in large numbers, like the dct cars do.

Short circuit fault for fog light? Gotta reset the counter, simple frm code clearing won't do that. Curious to know if this tool can reset the counter as well

Yes, that’s what I meant to say, counter. I couldn’t think of the name.
The left foglight circuit had its power cut.
It would be great if it could reset counters.
The other day the red elv icon popped up because of a low battery and I was about to buy the diagnostics to see if it was able to reset it. I charged the battery though and the light went away, so didn’t have to buy it.

Anyone with the diagnostics mode that can chime in on this?

Coded 5 blink passing signal and brake force display in safety-frm and a couple other things tonight.

Was looking for MDM to change to euro but didn't find it yet.

I wonder if it's same issue I was having with battery registration, which was the engine running.
Try it with ignition on, engine off.

Ignition on (fuel gauge reading), not running. For the 5 blink, I had to change it to 5 in 3 or 4 different parameters that were all together in the list. Same for the Brake Force light settings. Finalized the coding, cycled key. Good to go!

I’m going to try to code the brake force display tomorrow.

I just saw videos of some e90s with it and it looks like that brake lights flash wayyy too many times. Can it be set to only flash 3 times?

Don't see a way to adjust that.

I've been trying to get the FTM activated and working and am having no luck. I posted in the DIY channel here but have had no response. Maybe someone here can help (or Bimmergeeks can jump in). Here is a copy from the other post.

I've been trying with ProTool to make this work and it's not happening. Here's what I've done.

1) Unplug TPMS module (RDC) in the right trunk above battery (08 335xi)

2) Switch all of the disable TPMS codes in "Interior" menu

3) TPMS warning lights all go off.

4) Edit VO to remove the 2VB item and add 265 item. Save to CAS and FM

5) Go into interior menu and "load" the default VO in the Cluster (I have iDrive) so the iDrive will show FTM instead of TPM in the "Tire" menu (it doesn't...it keeps showing the TPM grayed out)

6) Go into Chassis and code the FTM code to "Active". Then load the code. Sometimes it's telling me an "error"

I've tried turning the ignition on/off at various steps and all sorts of the above combinations, but I can't get it to work. The TPM warning lights are all gone, but the FTM is not activated. What am I doing wrong?

I am not very familiar with your year and I assume CCC not cic, but read through this, it may help. I think you are missing a couple of steps in the VO coding to modules and looks like maybe a step in Dsc coding.

The only option I have in my FRM module under coding is
“Bfd as brake lights-output brake force display as brake lights”
I set it to active and I slam on the brakes pretty hard and I don’t see them flash in the rear view mirror.??

On a side note, I’m not sure if it’s my tablet or the app but it is incredibly slow to connect, if it connects.
90% percent of the time it does not want to connect, saying
“A second key has already been programmed to this”
“Connection successful but your vin cannot be matched”
“Connection unsuccessful”

I specially bought the cable to avoid connectivity issues, and here I am.
