No torn up grass tells me that this is where the tow truck dropped his car off in front of his house, not where he wrecked.

On top of a culvert in his front yard 10’ from his driveway with his headlight randomly strewn about?

Seems unlikely, but what do I know.

He's just pulling the headlight before the adjuster gets there ;

It was a 2 car accident. No one in car with me...had just dropped off kids at school. Amen to that. Happened right in front of my work. Car is in impound lot. Appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers.

Accidents are a nightmare!

Several years ago I was stopped at red light while driving my '03 Z4. A woman driving a Jeep Cherokee hit me from behind at an estimated speed of 45 mph!
Both cars immediately totaled. The Jeep was upside down and the responders had to cut her out. I lucked out with only a head gash. My axle was bent up vertically and I was also pushed in to a car in front of me. The Z4 passenger compartment held up well and lessened my injuries.
Please accept my concerns for you and I wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

Mikey

Yeah... every time I look at Ms they have issues lol.

Really considering a M4 next car in a few years but I might get a M2 if they are similar priced if there isn't any dumb issues like rod bearings or crank hub.

don't believe a front passenger would've survived. I guess no amount of engineering would've prevented a fatality. Praise the Lord there were no passengers. Glad ur ok.

So sorry. Be aware of your neck.... Your neck might feel 'ok' and just sore now, but it can show up big time a few weeks later. Did for me.... Take care.

I was T-boned in one of my Jeeps back in 2008 while I was stopped at a stop sign. Lady hit me at about 50mph and pushed me 15 feet sideways. I hit my head on the door (had a concussion) but was otherwise fine, or so I thought. My whole body was sore for weeks afterward and I still have neck issues occasionally. Being stupid and 18 I never went to the hospital.

Wow 50 mph in a Jeep. Good that you were somewhat ok!

OP, how are you feeling now a week later? I hope much better. Did the police report indicate what the hell happened? I thought for sure you put it sideways into a guardrail end cap or something, based that there was no paint transfer from the other car (maybe it was white too).

Glad you're OK OP. That will not buff right out. Impressive how it crumpled. Weird that the other car left no visible paint marks!

Still waiting on the quote for the passenger side mirror and side skirt shipped to my address OP.

On a serious note, hang in there. As this is a enthusiast forum, I am eager to know what wheels you’ll get into next. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

As much as it seems sad to lose a gem of an e90, things like this will quickly make you realize how silly something like a mint e90 seems and just how replaceable it is. Glad you're ok! God was looking out for you and so was your e90 Best of luck with the recovery and replacement car search.

Indeed, aside from the terrible misfortune of the accident, you were incredibly lucky. Hoping for a speedy recovery! Incidentally, did they use jaws of life on your B pillar? I have never seen a B pillar fracture like that.
