Help cannot change to any other front bumper :(

Hi Guys,

I have a E90 316i LCI N43 from 2008 10 month.

It seems like i have some sort of economy version, since I have start stop function, where the engine stops if I'm not moving.

And it seems like there is a difference from that version, and normal E90 LCI versions.

Because I have "extra" flap control on the bottom, and not just behind the grill.
It sticks out so far, I cannot change to any other M Tech bumper, as they hit the flap control.

Do you guys have ANY idea, if there's any other way, than changing out the entire flap control, or perhaps even remove it, and leave it "open".

See attached pictures from where I tried to put on a M3 look front bumper, and see how it hits the flap control, which makes me unable to attach it on the sides.

That doesn't look like an LCI based on what little I can see of the bumper and the shroud around the kidney grills. Regardless, it's just plastic. Trim the overlap and be done with it.

When I look up my number plate etc it says LCI. But it seems like I got the co2 package.

If I trim it will show some sort of error as the flaps open and close

If your E90 was built in 2008 then it is pre-lci.

Except that he's clearly not in the US where they got LCI a year earlier than here.
