N57 Rough Start

Ever since I bought the car it has been occasionally running rough on idle for about 20 seconds. I replaced the glow plug module and seemed to fix it for a bit but now it's running rough from cold for the past week. Recently I've put on a lot of motorway miles so maybe this has something to do with it. I took it to the dealer for a suspected small leak on fuel injectors and they said this could cause the rough idle. However advised that there isn't any point doing anything as it's not certain and could be costly - which is fair enough.

This is particularly annoying as no codes are showing and there isn't a confirmed cause of this. Anyone have any ideas?

If the injectors are leaking internally it will cause it to start rough when left for a few hours.

What are you reading codes with?

I'm using ISTA , and I think injectors 1-3 are slightly leaking

I was going to say some generic code readers don't always pickup all the codes, but if you're clear on ISTA then it's got to be the injector leak.
