BMW CCA LA Autocross Post-Bimmerfest

Hi Everybody,

On Sunday May 23, 2010 the BMW CCA LA Chapter will be hosting a post-Bimmerfest autocross at Auto Club Speedway. You do not need to be a member to race, but it is highly recommended. Autocross is a great way to test and tune all the mods you put on your cars for Bimmerfest! It is also the best way to learn those fine car control skills that make you a better track driver.

Entry is $75 if you pre-register ($85 cash only the day of the event). That includes instruction all day and lunch. Please note that our lunch is catered by the fun loving girls of Hooters Ontario Mills. No helmet? No problem - we will rent you one for $10. Extra lunches are $7.

To register for the event please visit http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...89993B14D7D02E

We look forward to seeing you all there!

advice? This is an article written by/for the San Diego chapter. http://sdbmwcca.com/docs/autocross-FAQ.html

Just show up with a good attitude, air in your tires, gas in the tank, water to drink, and sun block.

I'm torn. I want to go help. But I just blew a whole weekend, in fact, my daughter's birthday weekend, to do Cal Speedway. My wife will absolutely MURDER me if I do Bimmerfest AND autocross this coming weekend.

I may be able to sneak out for a morning to help instruct, but will absolutely have to leave by noon.

Thanks but I don't want your wife coming after me! Save the good graces for the SOW week-end in August. That one will be really, really, really, really fun!!

Of course we always appreciate the help and if you can manage the time we would be very appreciative.

Not unless you want to run for time.

Oops. I just went through the process. I do not plan to run for time and only plan to instruct in the morning...I haven't made a payment but it'll probably reflect on the registration DB?
