Changing Fog's and Angel Eyes
I have a 2011 335d, just wondering if others have changed there fog lights and there Halo's. I just don't seem to like the yellow around the rings of the Angel eyes..
I was looking at these to replace all..... GP THUNDER 8500K H8 PLASMA V2 http://www.e92-lighting.com/products..._V2-61-17.html Also wondering how hard would it be to replace them myself Thanks |

It's probably a good idea to look around in the lighting section of the forum. There's a ton of threads on the AE's and fogs, so you can get a good idea of what appeals to you the most.

I told you so those LUX lights people swear by them , the price and the warranty scares me only one yr warranty it detracts me!!! but WTF I hv some monies to spend, awaiting the future WAGNER IC for 335ds and later buy the execuhitch , I got the Koni FSDs at home ready to install them in a few weeks time. Will keep you all posted

I changed just my fog bulbs (to a bluer light to better match my headlights), but that's it. Unless you go with a full-on replacement of your housing (like from OSS) you will never see the level of light output the new F10/F30's have. In fact many of the plug-n-play bulbs look down right terrible esp during daylight hours. The Lux LED replacement bulbs are probably the next best thing although they will not match the light output of OSS.
There are LED fog light kits out there, but you need to buy a relay to avoid throwing codes. |

Price deterrant for me, although nice. one year warranty does not cut it for me. Question I ask is the 5 series angel eyes come white are they able to fit on 3 series, I presume its the same bulb

Hey Axel, you should really pop for the OSS. I know they are expensive, but I can honestly state that they are the best appearance mod I've ever gotten. I'll never forget when I first reinstalled my headlights, I just couldn't get over how much an improvement they were. I've never been able to get a photo that really captures their look, in fact never seen a photo that does them justice.
