Misfires in high gear at low rpm plagued me for a while. It eventually got worse and worse, moving down the gear tree. Use to only do it in 6th, then 5th and 6th and so on till it would do it in all gear 2nd and up. Ended up replacing injectors 1-3. This was after I already had injectors 1-6 replaced about a year ago. Problem is fixed now.

It could also be VANOS or CAM sensor.

Car feels like brand new and stronger.

In your case, you may want to have your dealer take a look into that if you've done everything else.
My car had/has??? the same issue for months. It's been at the dealer for awhile now, they replaced the HPFP with the latest one, Low pressure fuel sensor, spark plugs, replaced coils and it was still doing it apperently. So, like 4 days ago they told me they would open it up and look for carbon build up, before replacing all the injectors for a 2nd time (had them replaced (9k miles ago), with the latest ones. Mine was shuttering pretty much in every gear from 2nd to 6th 2k-4k rpms. Hopefully I'll get it today or early next week.

Maybe I need to try seafoam. My car has been doing this for a while. When I accelerate hard through the gears, it doesn't do it, but when I'm in 4th or 5th and hit the throttle, it stutters badly. Of course my warranty just ran out and injectors were never even mentioned to be replaced for this issue...

1500 rpms in 6th?

I find 6th sluggish at 90mph.
