Warranty and value when you sell it

I have a question about the warranty.. something i didn't find in the other posts.

I have a 07 335i, with 34000 miles. Actually the car was sold in september 06, which means that the warranty will expire in september 10.

I'm sure i will sell the car in december, due to my return in Italy, where i am from.
Considering that i will sell the car with no warranty (it will have probably 40000/45000miles by december), will i lose a lot of money?
I mean, if i sold the car now, would i get more money due to the warranty still present (and how much more, even considering the ~13000miles difference)?

I don't know what to do... for sure i'm not going to buy a new warranty for 3 months... my car is a low mileage car!

Thanks!

Since you have a 335 you may want to buy the BMW extended warranty (not the maintenace warranty) to give the next owner peace of mind. If you don't your target purchaser will be someone that diys. Most people get rid of their cars before the warranty expires because they fear the sticker-shock of the repair bill. So if you want more people to be interested get the warranty, otherwise sell it in august while some of the warranty remains.

It would be a selling point to have the warranty = easier to find buyers = you can charge more for it and still sell it quick.
On the other hand, I think your HPFP is the big item, and I think the new buyer will be covered by the standard BMW HPFP OOPS warranty.... so maybe you can boast an "HPFP warranty" in your ad. Good luck...

I wouldn't even mention the hpfp unless asked. Not everyone trolls these boards.
