cobb stage 1 turbo lag?

I had PPk installed previously on my N54 335ki. Throttle response was great.

I now have cobb stage 1 aggressive, and although the power is greater, I noticed that the throttle lags a bit more. This is what I mean by this:

With PPK and auto, lets say you shift into 2nd or third, and floor the gas - you get almost an immediate response. With cobb, you get an initial response and then you feel the boost coming in even stronger, almost like a second round.

I know it's likely because of the increased boost. Question is: What can I do to make the throttle response better again like the PPK?

Car is stock with drop in K and N otherwise. Will the BMW PE exhaust help with throttle response?

How about an intake? I don't want to go downpipe, at most a FMIC.

Are you using stock or linear throttle?

Are you running stock or linear throttle? I have pretty much instantaneous boost on Stage 1 Aggressive with stock throttling. Linear wasn't as fun to drive (although the gas mileage was significantly better).

Mods are only: Cobb Stage 1 Agg, DCIs, and a Synapse Charge Pipe/BOV.

Use the Linear throttle if you do not like the lag. I find the stock throttle a little more fun but if you want it to be more evenly distributed on the power band, I'd go with the Linear.
