I don't mean to revive a dead post, but has there been a conclusion made here? Will the LCI grilles not fit in the pre-lci bumper? I too am interested in doing just a hood and grill conversion while leaving the front bumper.

To answer your question it will look off you have to force the grills into the bumper the LCI grills are more kidney bean shaped

However...

a Pre-LCI hood will fit an LCI bumper/grill

Sorry to bump up this old thread, but are the fenders replaceable in between e90pre-LCI and LCI? i got a ding in mine and instead of getting it fixed, i found a same colored car with the fender in good shape, so was wondering if that could be swapped over.
