Update: First and for most apologies for the delayed dyno graph posts. Decided to go another route. I ordered the Simon2 Data Logger from Active Autowerke. Going to be doing some data logging and sending the files to Active Autowerke for some fine tuning to work with added E85 fuel in search for a few more ponies. Will keep you guys posted on status and of course a dyno run with everything hopefully worked out on my E90 328i setup.

I have a 07 328i coupe 6MT, I thought I had read it was 235hp stock? But I've been wrong before according to my Wife 🤣

It’s 230hp at the crank stock, but around here when we talk horsepower we talk at the wheels. Basically it’s 85% of crank horsepower cause our rear wheel drivelines eat up around 15% of the power before it gets to the ground.

So your 230 crank horsepower is like 200whp, and whp is what dynos typically measure.

Gotcha👍 I knew the difference but I see how we're measuring so that makes me feel better, which ever way it is I'll take what I can get 😁
I'm doing the 3 stage, catback and AFE CAI and then probably the bimmerlabs flash.

I own the AFE CAI and have tested it and frankly it’s currently sitting in a closet. I would recommend you save the money and spend it elsewhere. You can duplicate (or better) it’s performance for around $100 keeping your stock airbox...

So OP's 328i with 240 whp has about 282 at the crank? And the 128i on BPC website with 246 whp has around 290hp at the crank?

plus or minus, yes. the S54 makes 333bhp, and they dyno at around 285whp. the N54 were rated at 300hp and dyno around 270whp (stock). The stock BHP on the N54 is likely under-rated from the factory, unless you believe there's only a 10% drivetrain loss.

300hp N55 variant cars make about 265whp
320hp N55 (The newer EWG Turbos, like the M235) should dyno at 290-300whp
360hp M2 are about 330-340whp.

They are underrated.

The 330hp G37 dyno around 27xwhp, right in line with the 333hp M3.

Hello everybody,

I own E92 with an n52 engine.

I already have done some modifications :

Dinan Ram Air Intake Kit
K&N Air Filter + Carbon Filter removed
Secondary Catt's + Resonator Removed
PBX Installed

Future modifications will be :

3IM + 330i tune (Purchased all parts just need time to replace existing IM)
Active Autowerke PERFORMANCE EXHAUST HEADER (Ordered waiting for the package)
Also thinking about Universal Vacuum-Actuated Exhaust Cutout Kit or replace the muffler (don't want to be so loud)
Automatic to Manual swap (Already have all parts need to find the time)
Thinking to do some custom tune.

Guys, I need your recommendations. After I apply all the mentioned mods in my car, Can I use PBX with all of those modes? Or I should remove PBX?

Is there a way to increase throttle opening speed with a custom tune? (In that case, PBX will be removed)

I'm asking because PBX throttle response is awesome, don't want to lose that option.

Thank you for the response

I would be surprised if the tune Bob (Stage FP) uses doesn’t increase the pedal sensitivity. Seems to me like it did.

Also you have a really good set up pending. Have you considered swapping your diff to a 3.73? (That’s assuming you are a rwd and not xdrive.). This would be the last piece of the puzzle and it really helps to liven up the car.

I will check that tune, thanks for the suggestion.

I spend many hours finding LSD Diff but without luck yet, so that's why I didn't mentioned this option in future upgrades.

But it will be in my wish list for future after those modes done.

I will provide DYNO asap

Just get a tune. It will take care of your throttle response issues. However, since you are still driving an automatic, you will always have some lag until you do your swap.

HIs car is automatic. He already has higher diff installed, unless he wants an LSD.

Good catch! And on second thought I doubt he wants to buy the same diff he already has, lol
