Engine not smooth while idle
Hi, I have idle similar to this video:
Happens regardless engine during warm-up or after a long drive. Does this mean ignition coil problem? Do I need to replace all 6 coils? |

As others have mentioned it could be a few things.
I had exact same symptoms. What worked for me was plugs first: this solved the problem for about 6 months. Then the problem returned, and I also started getting more pronounced misfires. Read codes, swapped coils, determined I had an issue so I replaced them all. Problem is gone. I’m sure my spark plugs weren’t actually to blame, but rather magnified the issue which in my case was caused by failing coil. |

I had the same thing. Even on a cold start the car would slighty miss. I put in Royal Purple DI cleaner and the car runs perfect now. Ran two bottles in a row with 40L in each tank. 1000 miles since and no issues. 8 bucks... Fixed it. Try that first.

Also I scanned errors: 2F83 and 2F81 are there, what do they mean? could they be because of fuel injector cleaner? Or did I caught an issue? Last edited by Hotter; 08-13-2018 at 02:47 PM.. |
