Nice looking exhaust. I like the fact it has resonators and it has flanges instead of slip joint clamps.

Coupe only? I believe only difference is that e92 exhaust is slightly longer. So, with slip joints, could it be shortened a bit to fit e90 without any other modifications?
Doh - just looked again, no slip joints. We sedans will have to wait...

nice video! i had the opportunity to check out his car in person and it sounds great.. and the titanium tips add a nice touch to the exhaust. the exhaust is fairly quiet, with just enough sound to be recognizable down the street but, nothing to annoy your neighbors with.
thanks for showing me your car again! |

Several dyno runs were performed on my car and the Peak HP gain is about 9 HP. This is an average (not taking the highest and lowest and claiming it makes 15 HP). Peak HP is one thing, but between 4500 and 6000rpm there is a consistent gain in HP and torque. But, I'm sure the HP gains are about the same for all of the downpipe back exhausts. From what I hear, the exhausts are now available from any HKS dealer. I think SP Engineering is doing a group buy on this forum, but I haven't looked lately.

Maybe its just me but I swear I hear waste gate ticking when you started the car and reved it up. Dont mean to bust your bubble or jack the thread but it sure sounded different than most that Ive heard (regardless of the new exhaust).
