hi

if i have now Michelin Pilot Sport 2 ZP rft tyres and now would like to install non rft do i have some problems with error icons in my dash or no? as i understand those tpms sensors are required only for rft tyres

No TPMS installed on wheels = error message on dash and in some a chime upon startup

I'm also pretty sure that if you have iDrive it will leave your iDrive completely useless with a constant "low tire pressure" screen showing...

TPMS send wireless tire pressure signal to car regardless of whether you have RFT's or not. So if you don't want the error message - install the TPMS on your non-RFT's or use MachtSchnell TPMS Emulators available from EAS here:

But if you only need TPMS for (1) more set of wheels in addition to your factory originals, it's more economic to just buy an extra set of TPMS/Valve Stems at $196 as the emulator is $289

He's pretty much got it all wrapped up for you... I would either grab another set for your aftermarket wheels or get it flashed so that the light/chime turns off.

maybe i can use those tpms from my current wheels and put them on my new ones by the way i dont have idrive, if that light goes in a dash its just nothing i can not take attention maybe
