E90 LCI - Lux H8 160 Review

OK, so there are many reviews of various angel eye upgrades on the net, but not too many pictures of LCI E90 upgrades so I decided to post them up here.

I decided on the Lux H8 160 upgrade. I had good luck with the Lux H8 V3 on my past M3, loved the look. Researching the latest options led me the the 160. Proven design and one of the brightest white rings on the market.

Installation: Not good, but not Lux's fault. The E90 has small access on the back of the headlight which makes it very difficult to install any bulbs. If anything, the larger heat sink on the Lux makes it a bit easier to install.
(E92 has access panel on top of light and is easier)

Function: Great. The lights are error free and bright white. They look how it should have come from the factory. I don't feel that the OE looks any fuller which was a concern in V3 days. The center ring looks brighter with the 160 vs OE.
One caveat, they should fade off, not flicker. Lux, if you are listening...

edit: Woot! 1,000th post!

Appearance: Check out the pictures.

Beautiful car mate. I can also back up the H8 160 from Lux. Had them in my E92 and they were without a doubt the best option for plug and play.

Nice, I got mine installed over the weekend and I love them. I just need to install the fogs to match.

All angel eyes needs to be viewed at least 30 feet or more away to see the outer rings light up.
