G'day guys,

Recently became the owner of a 2013 E92 320d. Understand that the diesel cannot produce the nice sounding exhausts that petrols do, but opted for the fuel economy.

Regardless, was wondering if there is anything that can be done to make the exhaust sound better?

Don't want it to be loud for no reason, but with a nicer tone. Any sort of deletes etc. Not super experienced so would appreciate any advice at all.

No worries mate, you are in the right place. That said, your engine configuration is much rarer than the typical N52/N51/N53 that most of us here have. So, there aren't as many active members here that have personal experience with it. Hopefully I'm wrong. Either way, if you were to take some photos of the exhaust setup from under the car and post pics, we'd be happy to try to help. I'd also suggest posting the same in the *other* diesel sub-forum (which is catered primarily to the turbo diesel motor I believe), as I'm not very familiar with diesel cars and their exhaust systems so they could be quite different than ours (I assume they're about the same but I just really don't know). You might also want to try the UK sub-forum in the "regional" section... they have way more d's there.
