Exclamation Vishnu Methanol Injection System

Here's just a pic of our first production kit. It's going into a 335 sedan right now and we are taking pics for proper documentation/instructions.

Everything you see, including the battery cover/shelf and the aluminum induction pipe, is included with the kit. The battery cover/shelf comes pre-assembled with the components so all you have to do is remove your original shelf and drop this one right in. Then plumb the hoses, route a hose and two wires to the front of the car and plug them in. The methanol pump is armed by a wireless keyfob. One of the wires that gets routed to the front of the car is the mapswitch wire which plugs into a relay which plugs into the expansion port on the PROcede harness.

When running normally, the PROcede is on any one of 3 pump gas maps (selectable by double-clicking the DTC button). Once you under moderate boost, the pump starts pumping, meth starts flowing and the flow detection hardware sends out a mapswitch signal to trigger the aggressive meth map (map 4) which runs more boost and 3-5 degrees more ignition advance. Once boost drops and meth stops (or, even worse, if the jet cloggs), the PROcede immediately gets the signal to switch back to its conservative pump gas map. The switching is immediate and very seamless. You cannot tell when one map deactivates and the other activates. The advantage of this approach, besides the obvious safety benefits, is zero adaption time since you are running an ideal map for both on and off methanol conditions.

Yep, we designed this to be the ultimate meth injection system. No compromise was made. No drilling in rubber hoses. No relaying on knock sensors for knock suppression. Easily removable if the need should arise.

Cheers,
Shiv

Hey Shiv...For those of us who have the original RevII which came with the key fobs and have already has the relay for map switching, can we use that one or there is a special one that you made for this Meth kit....

I think that elbow is gonna go where the stock rubber elbow is, so I don't think the z shift is gonna fit with it.

1) it is a 4 quart tank. Last a couple of weeks of normal driving if you drive anything like me. At the drag strip running traps of 120mph+, 10 runs only drops the meth level down to 4/5ths or so. The key to tank longevity is the activation pressure. We don't start the meth until relatively high psi (unlike other tunes) because we don't need knock surpression since we are inducing ignition retard by the PROcede. Makes the meth last a looong time.

2) The aluminum induction pipe (aka meth pipe ) simply replaces the flexible rubber elbow just after the upper intercooler tube. If your aftermarket induction pipe retains this rubber elbow, it will work with our meth pipe. FWIW, if you ever get a chance to look at the factory rubber elbow during a dyno pull, you will see that it literally inflates like a balloon. So this approach fixes that issue as well.

3) If you already have a remote control relay/keyfob, you can use that pre-existing hardware. Just specify at the time of order so you can save a few $$.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. Our goal was to put together a properly integrated kit and I think we did that.

Cheers,
Shiv

thats about what I expected, well done.

I like it.

Scott get this ASAP so we can install it and have a few fun runs. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so my car should be back on the road and at the dyno near you in Frederick. You should dyno your car with and without meth at the same time
