Car shutdown for no reason? HELP!
So I was just having fun on empty parking lot and suddenly when I spin out 360 to a complete stop the car shutted engine off while spinning. Do you know what could cause this? Outside temp -7 celcius and oil temp was just below center point.
and yeah my 335 is completely stock except bov, dci, exhaust and I've auto. I didn't push gas while spinning but Im now scared like shit. It didn't even even throw any codes on dash and I just started it again and it's normal. has anyone else experienced this?

In almost all cars is an inertial switch that shuts off the fuel pump in the case of an accident or big enough spin. It prevents fuel from pumping if a car has crashed and still idling. Purely safety related. I'm such BMW has something similar (but unnecessarily over-engineered) for the same purpose.
