Performance exhaust or intake gents? I have a 2005 330. I heard not much gain with either. Anyone like to comment on how these mods affected butt dyno? Felt freer? Would I get us spec or euro?
Anyone just done a resonator delete? Any drone? Cheers |

I have the later model LCI MY2012 model E92 325i M sport and am also ready to do the BMW PE mod.
I contacted Remus supplier in Melbourne and they told me the Remus rear box is not suitable for the M-sport coupe. Maybe the body kit hasn't the clearance. I looked on the realoem website for my chassis number E773030 and there is an accessory PE available. Part number 18302217676... muffler only. So there is the correct part for the later model M sport 325i E92 coupe. Now I just gotta find where I can get the best deal. Expecting to pay approx. $1200 or less. |

It was a while ago now but it could have been Carshine, as mentioned in the first post here.

After reading the thread, I am getting even confused.
So, if it is a 2007 onwards E92 2.5L N52B25 325i, does the PE fit? The one that Stuart selling is the correct one to put on our E92 325i? Thanks. |

Just installed the PE on my 325i.
Wow! Extremely impressed, has totally transformed the character and soul of the car. Now sounds like a proper sporty car the way it should have been made. Time to go out for a drive just for the joy of it. Many thanks to Stuart at BMR for the supply of the correct part as ordered. Cheering! |

I just got the rear muffler. You definitely don't need to delete the resonator to get satisfactory result.
I was very surprised how much noise comes through from just changing the rear box (especially when the muffler looks identical .. with larger tips). Noticeable from first startup. Nice to get an audible response with every tap on the throttle. Very refined tone with increasing volume as the revs rise. Get a burble when back off the throttle. A joy to drive in manual mode with the windows down. Probably will barely be noticeable on the motorway with windows up. Much more noticeable than the result I achieved when I installed a Supersprint rear box on my previous E46. The PE has got my vote for the most rewarding modification on these model cars. |
