Few more pics as requested, not sure what angles you want.
Will look a lot better in daylight, unfortunately just have to make do with crappy garage lighting. |

yellow looks good on the black wheels though need a different style of wheels maybe, plus since you have red seats I guess better to go with a more subtle colour or a matching red but with the windows rolled up looks great!!

Thanks for the photos bmroxm5. I have to disagree with the above comments, I think your car looks sick! I like the wheels. The contrast of the yellow painted calipers on the black E92 body look awesome.
I know the car looks awesome from far but I was after a photo of the caliper as close as possible to see what the finish of the paint looks like. I'm still a bit skeptical about painting the calipers with a brush as it might look painted which is not the look I'm going for. If this is the case I'm sure nobody would notice unless they were looking up close though. |

The finish is fine. Like I said I rushed and only did 2 coats and you can ONLY see it if you're up really close, and if you're really looking for it. If I were to do it again, I'd make sure I didn't have plans and take my time and do 3coats. In fact I probably will do it again and be painting them gold. |

Hi Stu, I'd like to do mine as well (gloss black), if you haven't made the order already.
I also would like to paint the rotors (silver).

Stu, want the stickers similar to the lettering on the 135, is that white or grey?

I assume you want to paint the hubs silver? will use a different type of paint for this as you don't need high heat or anything. You can't paint the rotors/brake discs as the paint will just come off. Will double check and just order ones like that. |

Stu, also assuming we will need to take off the wheels et al and keep them to dry? Do you have all the tools to take them off and enuf jacks et al for all the cars to be done at the same time?

It's a bad idea to paint the section of the rotors where the wheels touch according my my old SA at BMW Sydney.

Yes we need to take the wheels off, however once painted they are touch dry within 15minutes and seeing as the wheels don't touch the calipers you can put the wheels back on straight away.
I have enough jacks and stuff, however I don't have garage room for ~5 cars so we'll do it on an 'appointment' basis and get you guys to come approx 90mins after each other lol. Although now that I think about it, Jeff and mine can be done another day as we are sharing the Gold, it's only you three getting black that need to be done on the same day. Moe I'm still not sure where you mean lol. If it's the part of the brake rotor that touches the brake pad then you can't paint that as the paint will just come off. If it's the cylindrical shaped bit in between the face of your wheel and brake disc then that can be painted silver or black (I'll buy both and we can do those at the same time) |
