Wheels - If Money Where No Object...

Guys!

if you had an unlimited budget to splash out on just 1 set of wheels! which ones would you go for???

when i was looking for a set i fell in love with these....

the BC HB04, quotes for 19" i think was around $4000 & 20" around $4400 without tyres!

Easy, there is only one answer for me, Vorsteiner VS-320 wheels as seen on the stunning Vorsteiner GTRS3 M3

http://www.vorsteinerwheels.com/forg...iece/vs320.php

http://www.bmw-mania.com/article/283...r_BMW_GTRS3_M3

$1700 EACH without tyres and a custom paint job for the wheels like the one on the Vorstiener M3 are a couple of hundred dollars on top of that so over $7k for just the wheels. Just a bit too rich for me but THE best wheels for the 3 series IMHO.

Just really surprised given their awesome designs that no one has produced cheaper copies\replica's of them, I'd have some like a shot. Just wish there was a bit more variety on 3 series wheels, all you seem to get are countless copies of CSL wheels which are very nice admittedly but getting a bit saturated now.

i know tell me about it! but the thing is what i find is that when someone creates a rep of a dished wheel/concave sometimes the quality really really suffers! just leaves us in hope that one day we can afford the real thing lol!

those VMR wheels look real nice, definitely go with the anthracite/gun metal option they would look good on our cars!

+1 suprised there are no reps about.

RE the CSLs, yes they seem popular on here, and a few members seem to have them, but I drive 30K a year and I'm always on the look out for mods, but I have NEVER EVER seen a single E9x on CSL reps EVER on the road.

Maybe they all too busy posing out side Krispy Kreme and don't take them on the road??

LOL! so true!

members post up pics and most of the wheel choices are CSL reps but come to think about it i hardly see them either!

on roads the most common i see on E92's are the MV4's!!!

No I agree, they seem a lot more common on forums but hardly ever seen in real life as most seem happy to stick with the standard wheels.

I was more on about the fact that most of the alloy wheels suppliers seem to only do CSL reps and maybe 1 or 2 other variations. There just doesn't seem to be as wide a varierty of choice for BMW's as for other marques. I gave up looking for alloys in the end as I didn't really want CSL reps and their is very little else available unless you want to spend top dollar and get them imported from the US.

I LOVE T37's, unfortunately I don't think they really suit BMW's much IMO. They look the business on Jap metal though, especially things like the GT-R, 350z or RX-7's.
