Ordering w/ aero kit
I am about to order a 335i coupe, and I really like the look of the Aerokit. I saw a 328i at my local dealer with one and it added $3k to the sticker. That seemed a little steep to me. The kit is just the back bumper and front lip right? Are the side skirts different? This car didn't have a wing either. If I want to order my car from the factory/dock/dealer with this kit what is a good price for it? Would I be better off just doing it after market? Thanks!!

Well he may think he can't, but he can... so either he just doesn't want to or doesn't know he can. Either way, ask around - you'll find a dealership that'll sell it to you for $385.

hmmm I think that makes the local dealers price a complete rip off. I know a few people have gotten their car from the dealership with the aerokit. How much did you pay? If I can get a good deal on it and be able to roll it into the loan and not have to mess with finding a good body shop I'd like to do it that way.

The least expensive way to do it is to have it installed when it arrives at the port ( PIO ) it's known as a port installed option, the labor cost are a little less than most dealers and they do very nice work, ask your CA to get a price for you, they can look it up on dealerspead, centernet, menu, automotive sales portal, pio and get you a price.Don't forget to ask how long it might take and if they save the original parts.

Probably too lazy or unwilling to look up the part number. Speaking of, the part number is around here somewhere, best you arm yourself with the part number and have a chat with the parts department. They would most likely have to order it in as most dealerships (if they do) prefer to stock full kits.

Front lip is on national backorder at the moment... No release date on mine yet. I ordered it about 3 weeks ago.

Yes, it's tiesto...
BTW, I have no clue why they can't order it.... You can always order it and just get on the backorder list.. When mine went on backorder, there were 6 people ahead of me.. I just checked 2 minutes ago, and there are now 16 on backorder... Better put yours in.. Even if it means going to another dealer.

There are no sides on the e92 kit.
Also, the rear decklid spoiler is not part of it. The Aero Kit only consists of front and rear bumpers. The catalog is wrong.
