HELP!!!!! Messed up my coding
So I had my LCI headlight installed... its been a long frustrating weekend!!! Okay so I've been trying to code out the LED angel eye bulb checks, front signal bulb checks Messed up all my coding but themanthatcan helped me code most of it again so now my rear LCI lights are working again, and front indicators seem to be okay. So now the LED Angel eyes are just blinking/Flickering, when I press the start button they are find. But when I turn the engine on the start flickering. Not sure what to do now... I'm getting error on dash now CC ID 378 - Sidelight/Daytime Lights Defective - Left CC ID 379 - Sidelight/Daytime Lights Defective - Right Any help would be appreciated Last edited by GOWRIN; 10-19-2014 at 05:27 PM.. It's going to be a bit hard to tell you exactly what's going wrong without knowing exactly what you're done previously and the state of your MAN file, but the first thing that pops out for me is the modules you're coding to. My car is a 2008 Pre-LCI but to code out bulb checks etc I have to code to NFRM > FRM
I've never loaded a .MAN file in that way either..in fact I don't even have that option in my NCSExpert, so it may be you're using a newer version than I am.

You don't load .MAN like that?
Also..... why did you select "coapiReadSgGetFswPsw" fook knows what that does!? so it's your rear lights flashing quickly? Sounds like you've wiped the original coding you done when installed the rear LCI Just re code them? |

Tried that and still nothing... I've attached how my NCS looks in pdf with a few steps I take. If you don't mind telling me your steps and how you would code it, I can try that way... thanks I done a daten file update and looks like it cleared my .MAN file. |

Have you not been taking backups of each of the configs you've pulled off the car? You should always read the module and keep a backup of the .TRC in case of screw ups.
The problem is I don't know what you've coded and to where, so not sure what advice I can give as to the next best step.

I backed up the original car .TRC File so that was good. I have now managed to code the rear by NFRM > FRM But now my issue is the LED Angel eye lights, they are just blinking/Flickering, I quickly checked the front indicators and they seem to be working fine. I'm getting error on dash now CC ID 378 - Sidelight/Daytime Lights Defective - Left CC ID 379 - Sidelight/Daytime Lights Defective - Right |
