Smoke coming from grills?
Happened yesterday after I drove non stop for afew hours in the hot sydney weather, then got stuck in that massive downpour on my way home. Got home and small amount of white smoke coming from the grills
I'm guessing its something to do with the change of weather/water from rain? Something like that lol. Anything to worry about? I'm always paranoid with this car Probably a dumb question but I've never seen that before. |

Yeah steam is what I meant, lasted barely a few seconds and I opened the hood minutes after it stopped and saw nothing. Also went on a short drive (20-30 mins) an hour or so later without issues. So I'm pretty sure it was just steam but i've driven in weather like that before and never noticed anything

Assuming there's no issue, you might have got some water come down on to the exhaust or turbos. check the drains either side of the cowl at the bottom edge of the windscreen to see they are clear of debris. Or some water splashed up from somewhere and into the engine bay area. lastly could just be rain water hitting the radiator or intercooler as you're driving |

smoke from grills is normal in the rain, worse is slow traffic where the radiator gets to temp. Stock coolant temp is >100C. it's just steam from the sounds of things |
