My new 335d and Corten Miller remap
Hi everyone, I picked up my 09 space grey E92 335d M Sport high-line on christmas eve from Soper BMW in Lincoln. I had a Stage 2+ 370 bp S3 8P which i traded in. I had the tuning work done on the Audi by Corten Miller in Lincolnshire of whom i was impressed with. I have looked at the various tuners offering remaps for the new BMW (E-Maps, Evolve, DMS etc) but thought id give CM a call and see what they can do, they offered me a remap with rolling road for £390 making an estmated 340BHP and +70lbs/ft . My dad has a 535d and has had the CM treatment but is the lower output engine so made slightly less , and has had trouble free motoring for 15k. This seems a reasonable price , has anyone else had a remap from these guys? Also slightly off topic, but my car has the Aux in/USB (6FL?), BMW assist and assist online, the clip in thing in the arm rest, bluetooth with the CIC head unit thing, my question is, do i need the snapin adaptor or the 'Y' cable to fully intergrate my iPhone 4S.
thanks in advance Last edited by Mike oxlong; 12-29-2011 at 08:52 AM.. |

Can recommend the combox. Have it in the GT. Web radio is very good as long as you have 3G coverage does away the need for DAB as well.
Plus Facebook and Twitter. |

Hey Danny, thanks for the welcome I'm just outside Grimsby bud, where are you? Just had a reply back from E-Volve regarding remap, and I think for the £299 special winter deal I can't really go wrong. Is your 330 mapped Dan?

Nice to see another Lincoln member, especially from the VAG scene.. Any pics of the old S3 mate? I too came from over from the VAG scene and previously had a Revo Stage 2+ Ed30 before the 135i.
Was you on VAGoc at all? |

The reason I ask is that I have this car and I could be interested in a tried and tested performance hike. Thanks, Jon D. |

Hiya bud, seems there is a few of us! yeah I have a few of the Audi I'll dig some out quick. I also had a JRSC type-R before the S3 (spotted your user name!). I bet the ED30 went well! I was on VAGOC and ASN, VAGOC seemed a lot more friendly, to be fair this forum seems very friendly. Was talking to Danny B about maybe a mini meet, possibly a track day at cadwell in the summer? Do you have any pics of the Golf bud? |

Lol yes it did ache a bit! My lung wasn't working as it should and my heart got shook about, but nothing broken! Bloody farmers left diesel all over the road from filling up equipment in a nearby field. What vag cars (& jap) have you owned mr Singh?

Toyota Altezza (Same body as the Lexus IS200) which I then supercharged, and did another load of stuff too.. Featured in some mags such as Banzai & Fast Car.. Audi A4 (B6) TDI sat on S4 18s and H&Rs.. Had some cars inbetween but were bogo std.. My other toy is tucked away, lets just say is little bit on the loud side |

Welcome
Jap - VAG - BMW seems to be the trend . EG6 B18C6 JDM converted & EK4 Civic's first, FBO LEON Cupra R and now my 335i. Each move has been a step up from the previous in terms of refinement and I plan to continue as I get older but, I'm still young. Nice set of Rota Sub's on the Civic BTW. |

It wasn't a real M3 no, it was a 325i but Heathrow BMW used it as a demonstrator for all the ASC parts. So had the wheels, wood, steering wheel,g/nob,suspension etc pretty much a full S3 rep. |

Just saw the M3 badge and had a feeling it wasn't one LOL. Glad you were ok. I had a E36 as my first BMW, but it was a 318is Coupe. Sold it to a neighbour of my parents who still has it.
